A single faux tortoise shell celluloid auricle mounted on a steel headband with a leather ear pad.

This is a well made unsigned auricle which is I think late 19th century. The ear piece section is jointed to allow better positioning of the ear piece in the ear canal. The head band is made from steel and is telescopic. The other end of which is secured over the ear with a stitched leather pad.
