A rare set of English mid 19th century dark blue glass apothecary jars with gilt labels.
The bottles have a lovely dark blue colour and are in excellent condition with original stoppers all of which can be removed. The labels show signs of age related wear but are all present and correct and they read:
- TR:PHYTOL:D:
- TR:KALIBIC:
- TR:BELLAD:
- TR:PETROLEu:
- TR:CHINÆ:
- TR:HYDRAS:C:
There are no makers marks but the bottles have broken pontils dating them to the first half of the 19th century.
