A circumcision shield by the Medical Supply Association

A simple circumcision shield of classical design. The prepuce would be pulled forward through the opening which is too narrow to accommodate the glans and the procedure performed with a single cut. The instrument is marked Medsupply London and below this a logo with the superimposed letters M and S. This London based company supplied medical equipment from the 1890s through the 1920s.
