The mouth and ear pieces of most conversation tubes are made from plastic, celluloid, horn or metal and wooded examples are uncommon. So saying this is an identical model to another conversation tube on Phisick.  Very finely turned with a beautiful grain and with silk wound tubing this is a fine piece of the highest quality.
