An antique French ear trumpet made from brass which has a black Japanned finish.

The tube connecting to the ear piece is “S” shaped in typical French style and the trumpet is of the opera dome variety.  The trumpet is small and designed to fit in the hand and pocket. The ornate grille is perforated with an ornate geometrical design. The earpiece is from wood.
