A very delicate and beautifully made pair of ophthalmology forceps for use in 19th century eye surgery. The outside of the box is marked “Pinse Faes Cisticerchi”.

The inside of the box is lined with purple silk and velvet. The box is marked A. Luer Paris Instrts. De Chirurgie Rue Antoine Dubois 6. Both forceps are marked A Luer Paris. The forceps have cross-hatched steel handles and are in excellent condition as shown.
