A pair of delightful French tooth boxes from the turn of century
Beautifully made from card and in maroon red bordered and decorated in gilt these diminutive little boxes would each have held an artificial tooth around the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century. The dentist used the box to advertise his business – Collange Dental surgeon of the faculty of medicine in Paris, Aubenas.
