Brass Ear Trumpet of the London ‘Dome’ style which achieved considerable amplification in a relatively small compass.
The grille has an attractive pattern of symmetrically punched holes. It was originally covered in black veneer which has now largely worn off. This piece which dates to the early 20th century is in good overall condition apart from some small dents to the body which are shown in the pictures. The detachable gutta percha ear piece is in perfect condition and still has a nice tight thread.
