A Burrows monaural stethoscope dating to the late 19th century. This two piece antique stethoscope is characterised by the rubber ring around the ear piece which allowed it also to be used as a patella hammers to elicit reflexes.
The stem and the ear piece are made from ebonised wood. The threads of the joint are sound and the two pieces screw together firmly. Dimensions mm
