A quality 19th century French convoluted ear trumpet.

This as lovely an example of  a 19th century pocket sized ear trumpet as you could hope to find. It is made from tin and finished with black pain and gilt. The cartouche on the funnel reads “Mathieu Bld St Germain 11 Paris”. The ear piece is metal with a gilt finish.
