A Pollard stethoscope with diaphragm tightening mechanism

The body of the bell is made from aluminum. The cylindrical bell has three sprung screws which when tightened pull down a tension ring which allows a removable diaphragm to be tightened. Around the apex of the bell it reads Dr Pollards Scope and on the side  of the bell is stamped Pat Oct 11 -19.  The ear piece supports are in nickel plated brass.
