A fine hand carved wooden pap boat for sick feeding. The intricate carving with a rich patina and grain typical of cherry wood makes for a very eye catching piece.
The word Chamonix (presumably the origin of the boat) is carved on the lid. There is a small full thickness age related crack on the lip as shown which does not detract from the overall appearance. A similar example is seen in the the Symons Collection below.
