A pair of steel bone forceps with a European late 17th century engraved design.

A fine pair of forcep constructed from a single piece of steel. This is a remarkable piece of forging requiring considerable skill and would have been the work of a master craftsman. A steel band riveted to one of the handles acts as a spring to keep the forceps open.
