A Stokes’ 2 piece monaural stethoscope from the last half of the 19th century. It is made from ebonised hardwood which has a lovely patina.

The earpiece has a bulbous appearance which is characteristic of Stokes’ stethoscopes. In fine condition noting some small marks to the stem and bell (see pictures).
