An English Faux Tortoise shell telescopic ear trumpet. The slightly irregular celluloid seams dating this to the late 19th or early 20th century.

In excellent condition with no marks or chips. There is a single small hairline crack on the earpiece end of the middle section (see pics). I cannot be sure if it is part of the seam, or an old repair. In either event it is stable and shows no signs of movement when the joint is stressed and is of no structural significance
