A dome shaped French ear trumpet dating to the late 19th century.

This typically French tin ear trumpet has an elongated “S” shaped curve leading to the ear piece made from an early plastic. The dome is rounder than the English version with a pulled in waist widening to a flange and no grille by design and is finished in black paint.
