An attractive miniature  dome ear trumpet in black enamel paint and a celluloid ear piece.

The grille has a geometrical circular grid like design. The French referred to these ear trumpets which were small enough to be enclosed in the hand and carried in a pocket as the “passe partout” and “le pocket”.
