A beautifully turned ivory syringe with a glass bore mounted to the ivory with pewter and a pewter and ivory spout. The plunger is kept airtight with a plug of chamois leather.

The pewter nozzle has a near black patina and the piece is otherwise in excellent condition. Dates to the late 19th century.
