A fine 19th C French Piorry monaural stethoscope in ebony and ivory.

It has been kept in perfect condition with a lacquer finish which gives the appearance of being an artificial material but the unmistakable grain of elephant ivory can be seen in the photographs. The two pieces join together with a screw thread.
