A classic London dome ear trumpet dating to the end of the 19th Century made from brass.

This has never been painted (although it was common to have them finished in black) and has developed a fetching dark patina. It is in virtually perfect condition. The earpiece in Bakelite or an early composite is threaded and detachable.
