A fine example of a late 19th century Loring Ophthalmoscope with a detachable ivory handle.

The purple silk lined leather case  is marked “Loring ophthalmoscope”.  The scope and the case are in near mint condition with all lenses and mirror in as new condition as are the hinges and latch. There is a separate compartment with an indirect lens present.
