An unusually small early 20th century ear trumpet which can be held in the palm of a hand. The body is made from Bakelite or an early plastic.

The ear piece has been hand carved from a fruitwood, varnished and is fixed in position. The diameter of the bell is 50 mm and the trumpet is only 35 mm high.
