Nineteenth Century (1831) Obstetric Forceps made by Norie of Glasgow.

Lovely old forceps with no pelvic curve in keeping with their age. The wooden handles have a lovely patina. Excellent condition for an old instrument with a tiny hairline crack on the joint (seen in photos) of no structural significance.
