A delightful antique Paris Porcelain mortar and pestle by Vincent Dubois. Beautifully worked with a floral and geometrical design in purple, green and gold.

The underside of the mortar has a distinctive makers mark and is stamped with two crossed arrows , the mark of Vincent Dubois (founded in 1773) and “Porcelain de Paris Made in France”. It is likely that this would have been more decorative than functional – and rightly so.
