A mid 19th century English domed ear trumpet with a decorative grill.

An attractive and small early ear trumpet whose body is made from copper or copper plated brass. The grille has a radiating petal design and is made from tin. Sound is transmitted through an”S”-shaped brass tube to a fixed composite ear piece. The finish is in black lacquer.
