A rare breast pump with cups made from heavy polished Pewter. The syringe attaches by screwing onto the suction cups. The set is complete in the original red velvet lined mahogany box and the cups retain their original worn leather seals.
Inscribed on the brass syringe “Weedon – maker – 41 Hart Street Bloomsbury Square London”. Weedon traded at this address from 1830 to 1856. I am not aware of another pewter cupping set and this is something of a rarity.
