A 1960’s black bakelite telescopic ear trumpet in its original box. The trumpet extends from 25 to 37 cm and is marked “Rochhausen 616 Waldkirchen”.
The box reads “Rochhausen Hörgerate – Service. 9367 Waldkirchen (Erzgeb.) Bez. Karl-Marx-Stadt”. Karl-Marx-Stadt was the name of the city of Chemnitz from 1953 to 1990 during the soviet occupation in Germany. The 4 digit zipcode was introduced 1965 in the GDR so the trumpet must date after that.
