A three drawer English telescopic ear trumpet from the early 20th century.

Made from faux tortoise shell thick celluloid this instrument has been well constructed and has a brass binding to the main joint which gives it  a robust feeling. The ear piece if from an early plastic and is fixed. Retracted the trumpet is 24 cm long and it extends to 39 cm which with its wide trumpet sections makes it an efficient hearing aid.
