A late 19th Century nickel plated tri-valve vaginal speculum with crosshatched ebony handles of the Neslon type.

The instrument is signed ‘Zorn NY’ (New York). The handles are joined with an adjustable and graduated bar secured with a screw which allow the blades to be held open at various angles.
