A set of vintage upper dentures which show a decorative rather than functional gold inlay
These denture would probably have been made post 1960 given what appears to be the chrome cobalt alloy plate. The interesting feature is the use of a gold inlay (a metal / alloy normally chosen in dentistry because of its resistant to corrosion, malleability, strength and ease of casting) which is in place for purely decorative reasons and must have made an endearing smile.
