Phisick illustrates a collection of old medical instruments and artifacts, celebrates their role in the history of medicine, and the beauty and craftsmanship in their making.
We can now offer a hosting service for those of you who share common interests and who would like to have an online presence for your antiques, whether one or two pieces or a whole collection.
As the contributions grow, we expect the site to become an increasingly informative place for historians, museums and other collectors to visit. Objects do change hands, but once published they will remain available online as ‘archives’. In this way the information is not lost and the resource will continue to develop.
